Build a Travel Template
Build a checklist of things to pack and cross them out as you pack; if you make it online, you can add or take things off your list per trip.
Carryon efficiency
Take a spacious hard shell “rolly” bag on flights where checked bags cost extra and pack it strategically to fill all inches of space. Remember- no toiletries over three fluid ounces.

How do I keep from over-packing?
Pack light clothes and pairs of shoes that match many outfits. Pack everything in tight! For example, if it is Summer, try sundresses instead of bottoms and tops. Try to bring only one to three pairs of shoes. Also, plan ahead and lay out your outfits before you place them into the suitcase. Place them all in the suitcase at once. Try on looks if you are still determining how the pieces will look together. If you need extra space, use your spouse's suitcase. You can even categorize (i.e., a suitcase full of shoes or coats.
